July 2016 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog & Happy Sunday!

I hope you guys are having a great weekend. I'm so behind with the Paper Pumpkin that I needed to create a card using the supplies I have left. Todays card is a birthday card that I designed  it for a friend of mine from Florida. His birthday happens to be the month. He will be turning 59 years old. Older and wiser!!!

I was able to punch out some balloons and sponge them to the different shades of blue. I really love the outcome of this card.

Lets get started!

1. Card Base:  Whisper White CS 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4 & fold in half.
2. Chocolate Chip CS:  4 x 5-1/4. Stamp the "Look Who's turning" in Dapper
Denim Ink. Glue this piece to the card base.
3. Punch out four small balloons using the Balloon Bouquet Punch. Sponge the
balloons using the Sponge Daubers (let them dry). I used the Dapper Denim,
Marina Mist, Soft Sky & Temping Turquoise Inks. Once they are dry, glue a
piece of the Whisper White Baker's Twine to each balloon with a glue dot.
Bring the baker's twine down to the bottom and use a glue dot to set the
baker's twine to the card. Take another piece of Whisper White Baker's
Twine, make a small bow & glue down with a glue dot.
4. Chocolate Chip CS: 3 x 3, take the numbers from the Large Numbers
Framelits & run it through the Big Shot Machine. Glue the numbers to the
5. Whisper White CS:  1 x 3-1/2, stamp the banner from the Number of Years
Stamp Set in Chocolate Chip Ink. Stamp the greeting in Dapper Denim Ink
using the Confetti Celebration Stamp Set. Use the framelit from the Large
Numbers Framelits & run it through the Big Shot Machine. Glue it with
