Reason for the Season - Christmas Card

Hello, everyone!!

Welcome to my blog and Happy Sunday!! Oh, baby it's cold outside!! I love it! This time of year I love being home. I love reading a good book, watching a good Hallmark Christmas movie, being with family, or just having fun creating!!

Are you guys almost ready for Christmas? This is the first year that I'm behind on everything like putting up the tree, Christmas shopping, etc. I'm excited because this year is going to be more simple. I want to focus on more of what Christmas is all about. That's why I used the stamp set Reason for the Season. I hope you like the card.

Today's card was one of the October 2016 Meeting Make n Take. I love the color combo (Real Red & Sahara Sand). It was simple to make. Enjoy!

Lets get started:

1. Card Base:  Real Red CS, 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4 & fold in half.
2. Whisper White CS:  4 x 5-1/4
3. Candy Cane Lane DSP: 2 x 5-1/4, glue this to the Whisper White CS piece.
4. Wrap Thick White Baker's Twine around and tie in a bow.
5. Stamp the snowflake from the Flurry of Wishes in Sahara Sand Ink and then
the sentiment overtop in Real Red Ink. Cut out with the Layering Circle
Framelits in the Big Shot. Cut out a Scallop Circle in Sahara Sand CS.
6. Attach to the card with dimensionals.
7. Embellish with Basic Rhinestones.
